also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DRB-Hicom Group. He is himself an accomplished rugby player and is a product of Malay College Kuala
Kangsar, where he was the Headboy besides being the rugby captain, gaining school colours and representing Perak at schools level. Tan Sri went on to Loughborough College for his tertiary education in Automotive Engineering. During his time there Loughborugh was renowned as the powerhouse of university rugby in the UK and Tan Sri’s was himself involved as a scrumhalf of the team. The Yahaya Ahmad Cup is an annual challenge cup and is awarded to the winner of the penultimate playoff
between the 1st and 2nd ranked team in the competition. It is superior to the Super Six League Champion, which is accorded to the team with the highest points in the league stage of the competition. The winner of the Yahaya Ahmad Cup will be acknowledged as the Malaysian Super Six School’s Rugby Fifteens Champion. The cup was kindly donated by our Title Sponsors.
